Jake Hose Bio and Resume

n the Great Northwest, Jake Hose creates his fun whimsical art filled with vivid imagery, emotion and inspiration. In the late 90’s, he went through somewhat of a Renaissance period, drawn and inspired to learn how to make music, learn martial arts, and develop a style of painting that he later became recognized for.

He has been called a visionary, with a unique ability to create unusual, yet delightful, works of art that have touched both children and adults. Great passion transmits from his heart into his art. To him, art is a communication tool to express and inspire others with his artistic visions.

Jake has always been drawn to the arts and has created art steadily since the mid 90’s and has accumulated an impressive collection of original acrylic paintings, pen and ink drawings, and sketches.

Since then he has been fortunate enough to have established a name for himself, selling art to people from around the world, while doing shows in the Seattle area, and has attracted both celebrities and others to be drawn and fascinated with his work.

Jake has over 16 years experience as a professional picture framer and designer. This includes framing artifacts for various museums, working with other professional artists, and interior decorators. He has literally designed and framed thousands of pieces of art from all over the world and has taught framing.

He has been privately taught in various painting techniques through working with other artists and learning through instructional material.
