The Celtic Princess
The Celtic Princess is a special piece for it celebrates the unique beauty of the Celtic culture. The Celts have a significant history and heritage and it was an honor to create a painting celebrating their culture.
The Celtic tree of life, at the top of the hill, in whole, represents strength, longevity and wisdom. Below the tree is Ennis Abbey also called the Old Friary that was founded in 1240.
The church in Ireland is filled with beautiful sculptures and panels bearing scenes of the Passion. The Celtic monks carry across the bridge an ancient illuminated manuscript, called the Book of Kells.
The cliffs of Moher, in Ireland, gracefully drape the sides of the tree of life and give the piece visual depth and more flair.
The leprechaun, significant in Irish folklore, plays music with the bagpiper to the cats and other animals, while the beautiful Celtic Princess is collecting flowers with the help of the sleeping dragon on the side of the hill.
